The IBS-D Research Study
Feeling overrun by abdominal pain and diarrhea?
Currently, the most commonly used IBS-D treatment, loperamide (Imodium), is not approved for chronic use and does not provide adequate control of symptoms for all people. Eluxadoline is an approved IBS-D treatment that is being studied to better understand safety and effectiveness. All study-related visits, tests and treatments will be provided at no cost. In addition, compensation for study-related time and travel may be provided.
